It is a great pleasure to introduce you Ramakrishna Mission Nivedita Educational & Cultural Centre, ‘Roy Villa’, where Sister Nivedita breathed her last. This hallowed mansion turned as a branch centre of Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math since 10th July, 2013 when Smt. Mamata Banerjee, Honourable Chief Minister of West Bengal, formally handed it over to Ramakrishna Mission. Right from the beginning, it has been rendering yeoman service for the underprivileged stratum of the society of these hilly regions. Various types of relief and other welfare activities, such as, providing monthly ration for old mothers, giving scholarship to girls students, organising medical camps and running Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa (GAP), an integrated child development project are a few of its present activities. These would not have been possible had not the devotees and well-wishers come forward and extended their helping hands.
To mention a few of its proposed activities in upcoming days are as follow:

1. Maintaining the room where Sister Nivedita breathed her last and a permanent exhibition on her life and teachings.
2. A School of Language.
3. A Computer Training Centre for boys and girls.
4. A Coaching Centre for Joint Entrance Examination.
5. Some programmes for the empowerment of women.

In order to actualise the aforesaid projects and also to carry out day-to-day activities of the Ashrama, generous contributions from all ends are earnestly solicited.

Your kind co-operation & generosity will inspire us in our walk for bringing about positive changes in the lives of people throbbing in the heart of hills.
